Nordic Petfood Association (NPFA) is a trade association for suppliers of prepared petfood in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland who sell and distribute petfood. NPFA is financially independent of wholesalers and retailers.

NPFA combines the interests of the distributors of prepared pet food on the Nordic market.

The NPFA is a voluntary branch organisation for manufacturers and importers of prepared pet foods in the Nordic region, aiming to safeguard the interests of prepared pet food.

NPFA is a member of FEDIAF - the European pet food association. http://www.fediaf.org

Our aim is to deliver prepared pet foods for companion pets that are nutricious, safe and palatable.

The producers of prepared pet foods has two obligations. To make sure that the food we produce satisfy not only the companion pets it is designated for, but also the pet owner.

Legislation - Members of the NPFA comply with the national legislations and work closely with the national authorities.
